Our blue box has three separate measuring systems, which can be integrated according to customer requirements: 3D laser measurement, acoustic resonance analysis and surface inspection.
The 3D laser measurement makes it possible to check the absolute dimensional accuracy (length, width, height) and to detect curvatures in the tile.
The acoustic resonance analysis allows cracks to be identified by analysing vibrations in the brick. It is struck from above to produce a sound. The impact is made using a linear process unit depending on the shape.
Surface inspection detects absolute and relative optical defects, such as engobe/glaze changes, spots and flaking.
